We all want soft skin, don’t we? But guess what – I found away to achieve this while doing a bunch of other good stuff for my body and health!
Want to know what, how and why? Keep reading!
I am talking about Dry Brushing, something that will change your life. Haven’t heard about it yet? No problem, I will explain everything to you.
The Benefits of Dry-Brushing:
- It exfoliates Dead Skin
By Brushing over your skin dead skin cells are removed, your skin will look and feel fresher and will be a lot smoother!
- Lymphatic System
Dry-Brushing stimulates your Lymphatic System, by that – toxins are removed from your body which will dramatically better your immune system and by that your overall health!
- Reduces Cellulite
Your skin cells will be stimulated, as I described above – this will remove toxins from your body. Not only is this good for immune system but it also lowers the appearance of your cellulite. And I can tell you, from my own experience, that it also reduces stretch marks and strengthens your skin.
- Unclogs Pores
Through the brushing your skins pores will be unclogged. This will help your body to absorb more nutrients faster, and this also ends up in fresher looking and smoother feeling skin.
- Stress Relieve
It works similar to a massage. By reducing the stress it helps your body heal faster from inflammation.
- Energized + wakes you up
This is why I love Dry-Brushing in the morning. It gets your blood moving and by that helps you to wake up and get energized. A great start into the day!
- Prevents Aging
This is basically caused by all the reasons named above – your body won’t look old that early! Maybe this does not bother you now – but later on it definitely will!
Now, How do you do it?
Well, it really is simple!
First you need to get yourself a natural bristle brush, be careful that it comes with a long handle (so you reach every part of your body) and also avoid any synthetic brushes – they will damage your skin!
Then get out of your bed in the morning, remove all your clothes and stand in the shower or bathtub (to catch your falling dead skin cells).
You should brush in long sweeping motions – always towards your heart! Start at the bottom of your feet. Don’t brush away from the heart as this may cause ruptured vessels and varicose veins!
Try to brush each area several times, don’t miss a spot. Also – don’t be too rough, your skin is a very sensitive area! After brushing you should shower or take a bath, and I also love to apply some natural oil (coconut & almond).
So – tomorrow morning, what are you going to do? Right, dry brushing!
