i have been in croatia for two weeks in august. there are so many things i realized in that time and i want to share those with you. i am still sure that in order to realize such things you need to make your own experiences – but getting inspiration from other people who are making the same journey never hurts.
- ” all the time before flying here – i knew that this would change a lot for me. take my mind and soul to a new vibration, feeling more connected to everything around me, to this universe. but i never expected the changes to be this dramatically, in a positive way. i feel such a strong urge to be in nature 24/7. i experienced so many moments in which i felt such a strong sense of alignment. i honestly never thought it would be possible to realize so many things in such a short amount of time and i am beyond grateful for the experiences i made here.” – written by me.
so i went to croatia to visit my best friend who stayed there for 5 weeks this summer with her family. we went camping just 50 meters from the ocean surrounded by trees. just this alone was a wonderful feeling. falling asleep in nature, living the day in nature and waking up in nature. how could anything be more beautiful? i honestly haven’t been in a house, car or anything like this even once the whole time. it felt so good living like this and it is still very difficult to be back in germany, living in a big town and being surrounded by hundreds of humans and no wilderness anywhere near.
so the first thing i experienced – may be obvious – was a strong connection to nature. to the universe. to every animal and every human being i came across. it was wonderful to finally regain this strong connection which we are all born with. it just felt so right, so normal, so naturally. it felt like coming home. every step i made felt like i was home, like i was loved by everything that surrounded me.
i learned that hate, revenge, judging, fear – all this negative stuff. it really is what we call it – negative. in order to live a happy and fulfilled life i – we all – need to let go of those things, those emotions. they keep us chained to our past, they keep us chained to our negative emotions. not only this – living with those things will only attract more negative. it is a downward circle which we should all get out of as soon as we can. now.
i not only felt connected to nature – i also felt the strong need to be in nature. to walk barefoot between trees, to observe other living beings, to watch the sun rise and set, lie under the stars and moon, swim in the salty ocean, listen to natures music. it fulfilled me. it was like a 24/7 meditation. those things were all i did in my days there, nothing else. just living. just being. i can’t describe how happy this made me feel.
we humans always ask ourselves why we are so depressed, so anxious, so stressed out. we have so many problems which just won’t go away. i get it, i understand it. i experienced this, too. and i know the remedy – i know what will help you. go outside. leave your phone and any technology home. walk barefoot. be in nature. complete nature, wilderness. breathe in and out. live in the present moment and forget about anything else. forget anything that fills your mind, fills your soul with unhappiness.

i know society tells you that this is how your life should be. school, university, work, die. and stressed, stressed all the time. everyone is stressed, depressed and anxious. you think this is the normal state. but it is not, i can tell you it’s not. and if you leave everything for some time and reconnect with your true being – you will tell the same as i do.
