hey you. thank you for visiting my page, I value you so much.
I decided to tell you a little bit about me, just so you know who is talking to you through all those words on searchserendipity. It would probably be weird for you if you had no idea who this is, why would you want to learn from someones life experiences if you knew nothing about this person.
so here we go..
my name is sarah, I have been on this earth for around 20 years and I was born in a small town in the west of germany close to the dutch border. thats where I grew up and lived for 19 years. my parents divorced when I was 3 years old and my dad moved 1-2 hours away. they both found new partners which whom they are still living together. I can’t really remember anything from back than because I was still very small and young.
When I was 14 (I guess) I had my first panick attack, and never found out what triggered it that day but it was one of the worst days in my life, I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I just felt like I was suffocating. I went to hospital for some days to make sure that there was nothing wrong with my body. I started a therapy which I have been doing on and off until 1.5 years ago. It helped a lot but every time I wouldn’t have sessions for some weeks my anxiety would get stronger. I struggled a lot with eating, especially in restaurants. I was scared of almost anything. I felt as if I couldn’t live my life how I wanted to because I was paralyzed by fear.
At some point I decided that I needed to change something, those problems wouldn’t go away from themselves. I went vegan, started meditating and practicing yoga. I could feel my body and soul starting to heal. But it also made me realized how much I had buried without never processing it, it made me realize that I had to do this now. Which scared me so much.
But I did, sometimes more sometimes less, but I never stopped fully. I learned so much during those years, read so many books and experienced so many things on my own. I can now view on anxiety and fear from a different perspective which makes it possible for me to help other people who are going through something similar. I found out the little tricks, habits and practices which are able to change your life if you allow them to do so.
This is why I created this blog, so that almost everyone can have access to what I learned, so that I have a safe space to open up and share what I learned with you.
I write blogposts on different topics, offer you mini eBooks if you are signed up to my newsletter, and created a facebook group for you to meet other like-minded people so we can all empower each other. I explain more about this on OUR SANCTUARY.
