Gratitude has the strongest connection to mental and emotional happiness and well-being. It is more important on your journey to becoming happy than any other character trait.
When I started being grateful and really integrating Gratitude into my day to day life – everything changed. My life shifted from being filled with problems, anger, sadness and fear to me being happy and appreciating everything – living happily. It actually took me some time to completely realize how big the Power is that Gratitude has on our lives. It is fascinating and should be something everyone lived by.

I just think that it is absolutely amazing how dramatically your entire life can be changed just by appreciating the wonderful things that happen to us every day. I know there may be bad days, but there is always something you can be grateful for. This must not be something big – you can simply be grateful for having fresh water, having a roof above your head, being offered food or having access to education.
These are things we completely take for granted. We use them every single day and never realize how grateful we can be for this – it is important to know that those are things that may be normal for us, but there are people living on this planet to whom those are not offered! Living in Countries where it is normal to just get fresh water out of the tap whenever we want to is something you should always be grateful for – just imagine this would stop right now. There are lovely ways to practice Gratitude
Start writing a Gratitude Journal – thats how I do it. Every night before going to sleep I will write down everything that comes to my mind I can be grateful for today. This includes events, food, friends, family and everything you feel like! You can also think about 5 things in the morning that you feel grateful for. This will make a great start into the day and will offer you a great mood, feeling energized and happy.
