“It all begins with you, if you don’t care for yourself, you will not be strong enough to take care of anything in life.”
When I started this Blog I realized that there is a lot that needs to get done in a little amount of time. Sometimes, this can become very overwhelming. So I created my morning and night routines, to get me ready and in tune with myself. Since then I had a lot more energy. On Sundays I planned for the next week…
…and one day I had the Ideas to make Sundays my Selfcare days. I am sharing today what I do on my Sundays & maybe it will inspire you to start doing something similar. Enjoy!
Category 1: Work
The first thing, after my morning routine, is to catch up with my work. No matter if it is for University, the Blog or whatever. Everything I haven’t gotten done during the week, even tho I planned to – I do it know. This one is really important to me because starting a new week with old burden.. never feels good. I love a fresh start, so thats what I create.
Make a list and write down everything you want to get done before this day ends, work-related, then: just do it. Trust me, that is going to feel damn good.
Category 2: Cleaning
The next thing I focus on is cleaning my apartment. I wipe the floor, vacuum, clean the bathroom & kitchen, put on new bedsheets and towels, take out the trash and catch up with my laundry. Probably takes me 2 hours. So now I caught up work related and created myself a clean and tidy environment.
Category 3: Selfcare
This is the point where I like to go out for a walk or make my way to the gym to get my body moving & refresh myself. When I come home it’s time for the most fun part of the day: my Selfcare. I love taking a hot bath, putting on a face and hair-mask and just.. relax! Read a good book, drink tea or hot chocolate, listen to nice music, do something creative.. just replenish my soul so I am energized for the next week.
Some extra Tips for your Selfcare Sunday:
- make a phone & social media detox
